Falls, Swallow Tail Falls and Maryland's highest falls Muddy Creek
Falls at '53. Explore one of the last stands of virgin forest in our
region, while you will learn about bears, local and park history,
natural cycles, plants and animals. Bring your cameras and be ready
for great picture taking opportunities. A gentle and educational walk
in one of Maryland's most beautiful areas. Perfect winter family adventure
for all ages! In the winter the trail could be a little slippery (packed
snow) and a little challenging for some folks. Proper footwear with
good tread is encouraged. Kids 4 and up do well so do mobile seniors.
We end the trip with hot coco (we provide), bring your own snacks.

Winter Considerations: Sometimes the
trail can be packed out and a little slippery or icy. The guide will
make the determination as to the trails saftey that morning. Good
