Mount Nebo Hike

A great hike for wet days when hikes along streams may be too wet. Also a suitable hike for winter (if there is no snow). We sometimes offer this as a snowshoeing adventure as well.

Climb Mt Nebo
When: Scheduled privately~ a good half day hike
Where: We meet at the trail head on Dry Run Road. We'll give you directions. 20 minutes from DCL.
Cost: $20 per person with a 10 person minimum guide fee. Groups of 10 or more $15 per person.
Medium difficulty ~ tour lasts 3-4 hours ~ we've had kids as young as 8 really enjoy themselves.
What you will do: You will take a 3 -4 hour hike from Dry Run Road to the summit of a mountain, Mt Nebo. The climb is on trails and gains about 800' in elevation. We take our time on the way up, stopping frequently to admire natural features.At the summit we stop for a snack at our primitive camp and we take a side hike to a view. You will learn about bears, map and compass, and plants and animals. A great trip for groups with active kids and adults.
