Conditions: GREAT BACKCOUNTRY SNOWSHOEING THIS WEEKEND. We got 6-8" and it is still snowing. Check back for the final totals. XC skiing may still be marginal, check Herrington Manor Sate Park link below.
Forecast:Temops will get milder for the weekend and are not predicted to get as warm as previously predicted. Looks like 30's and maybe 41 degrees as the high. EXCELLENT CONDITIONS FOR TOURS!
Long Term Forecast:Spring might spring but we have the snowpack and base for another two-3 weeks of tours. March 13th and 14th might be the last weekend of tours. Come get it while you can.
Snowpack has been amazingly resilent this year- withstanding numerous thaws and freezes and rains and enjoying regular snows. To us it looks like it will survive into March and some March weather forecasts are snowy as usual. Last year we ran our last tour April 12th.
